Rani Mukerji starrer ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ score Rs 1.25 crore, Kapil Sharma’s ‘Zwigato’ rakes in Rs 42 lakhs – Times of India

This Friday, Rani Mukerji starrer ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ and Kapil Sharma’s ‘Zwigato’ hit the screens. Both the films have emerged as low scorers.
‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ gained some momentum with positive word of mouth and earned Rs 1.25 crore on its first day. The film released in 535 screens and is expected to grow positively over the weekend, tweeted Taran Adarsh. The trade analyst also updated that Kapil Sharma starrer ‘Zwigato’ had a limited release in just 409 screens and managed to rake in Rs 42 lakh on Friday. This entertainer is also getting good word of mouth publicity.While these tow releases struggle to make a mark, Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ continues to sail smooth. The film has completed over 50 days at the box office and currently stands at a total business of whopping Rs 540.98 crore nett in all languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Rani Mukerji’s performance in ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ has left her husband in shock. Speaking about the same, the actress revealed, “Adi was shocked after seeing the film. He was deeply moved and I don’t think I have seen him so moved in any film. Last time, he was so moved, is when Yash uncle passed away. He is a parent today, so it hit him. He was very sweet and gave me a side hug as if I am his child. He said, ‘Well done,’ and I said, ‘Thank you.’ It was a moment because Adi praises me behind my back. I think he could not stop himself and he was moved by the film.”
