Varanasi: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Friday to carry out collaborative research and extension activities. The MoU was signed by the BHU registrar, Prof Arun Kumar Singh and the director of ICAR-IIVR, Dr TK Behera. The arrangement will provide an opportunity to students of Institute of Agricultural Sciences of BHU to work with scientists of ICAR-IIVR. Prof Kalyan Ghadei, Head of Department of Agricultural Extension, with support of Dr Saikat Maji, Assistant professor, coordinated the process of materialising the understanding between the two institutions.
